Life with Kaishon - What delicious little boys. Mar 19, 2010 at 10:52PM Abra Michelle - I definitely agree with what other have said and would love to know How do you get your images so crisp and bright? How do you get your images so crisp with children moving with wide apertures? I love my wide apertures for diminishing the background but if the kid is on the move then.... :P Also, how in the world do you always get the light just perfect in their eyes?!? It's amazing! Looking very much forward to your class on Sunday. Now I know to get there extra early. Feb 27, 2010 at 10:59AM Marie-eve - Je suis fan fan fan !!! Vos photos sont tout simplement magnifiques . Je souhaite de réussir aussi bien que vous un jour... Bravo!! Feb 9, 2010 at 9:26AM Sherri W - That baby is TOOOOO precious! Seriously. He looked very happy, so you must have worked very well with him. I love the tight portraits you do for your clients and how THEY are the total focus of your shots. I know they must have been very pleased! Feb 6, 2010 at 7:47AM Michelle Guzman - Your WPPI class will be amazing I'm sure. And what a cute kiddos here. They look so sweet and calm. Feb 5, 2010 at 10:49AM melanie pittman - My biggest question and goal for this year is to learn how to interact better with my subjects and learn how to draw natural expressions out. I think that is really the key to being a good photographer (besides knowing how to use your camera). I have asked many photographers what tips they have to bring out good natural expessions and they don't give me much input. I'd like to know some things to say and do so they don't get bored with me. Feb 4, 2010 at 9:23AM Kelly - Please. I can't attent the workshop, but ever since I started following your blog, I've been absolutely dying to know what camera/lens do you use? Please Please Please. I think I'm in love with all of your pictures. Thanks so much! Feb 1, 2010 at 10:53AM Vanessa - Dear Audrey. I participated last year at your Seminar. I arrived early and I saw all the " little " problems. I loved to participated and hear all you have to say and teach. You were wonderful , being very honest, open ..I will try to go again this year. All the best. tchau Jan 30, 2010 at 9:24PM Allison - I'm so so so happy that you are teaching a class at WPPI. I'm attending for sure! Wow, what questions I don't have..... ok.. Nikon or Canon? What are you favourite lenses and why? What editing software to you use? How do you get your images so crisp and bright? How do you get your children/families to look so natural and not awkward (what do you say to them to make them do this? ) How do you get your images so crisp with children moving with wide aperatures? How do you get your white balance so perfect? Looking foward to your workshop the most!!! Excited to meet you... Jan 29, 2010 at 11:57PM melanie pittman - I won't be able to attend WPPI and this is a seminar that would be a must on my list if I was there! My one question is do you use a nikon (D700) because if High ISO sensitivity for this purpose, and your images look so shap. Nikon images seem to be a bit sharper so I am thinking that's what you use. Jan 28, 2010 at 11:31PM Janet - I was at Image X too, your seminar was fabulous! I am still applying everything I learned. You were so open and genuine! If I was going to WPPI, I would def be one of the 900+ in the room! Jan 28, 2010 at 8:40AM Diana Toone - What would be the "must haves" that you always take with you on a shoot. Is there anything that is always a hit with the kids? And how do you get the parents so naturally involved when they end up in the pictures too? How much direction do you give, and how much do you just "let happen". You know I love your stuff and can't wait to see you at WPPI!!! Jan 28, 2010 at 12:18AM Amanda - Hi Audrey! I will definitely be attending your class at WPPI. One thing I'd like to hear about is how you interact with the kids, and handle tough situations. I can't wait for your class! Jan 27, 2010 at 7:26PM Yvonne - I swear I read somewhere that you were going to do a Q&A on your blog, right? Now I can't find that comment. Will this still happen? How can we get questions to you? How do we get added to your email list of people that would LOVE to attend a workshop? And, finally, your work is simply amazing. Please post more often. :) Jan 27, 2010 at 11:14AM Christie Mumm - I totally understand why you would want to make it a small venue, but am excited that it will be bigger this year, my sister and I were two who did not get in, we were bummed, so are super glad we will (hopefully) get to see you this year!! Jan 26, 2010 at 10:58PM *~*Audrey Woulard*~* - Hey Nicole! I don't have an option for my workshops to be video taped.... secretly, I worry about the camera hitting me at the wrong angle! I have decided that I am going to do a Q&A on my blog in the next few days. That way, photog's can ask me whatever they would like! So check back for that! ~AW Jan 26, 2010 at 10:41AM bonnie - Audrey, I am so happy that I saw you at Image x with a class of under 20. You are amazing & very considerate of your fans... it was great to get to know you! thanks so much for that! Take care. Jan 26, 2010 at 6:45AM Robin - Audrey, you know I am always in "awe" of your photography and was one of the lucky ones that got to meet you last year at WPPI and be in your class. Some questions I have are: 1. How do you get the wide aperture and stay in focus with moving kids? 2. I would love to see a sooc shot and the pp'd one. 3. When you are interacting with kids, what are some of your favorite things to say to get them laughing or relaxed and having fun? If I think of more questions, I'll be sure to come back and post! Thanks for sharing your awesome talent! Jan 26, 2010 at 12:10AM nicole slater - Hello! I would love to come to one of your workshops especially this one about natural light, but I live in Oregon. Do you have any options for those of us who live far away? Will it be videotaped and if so would you consider putting it online? Thanks so much! XO Niki Jan 25, 2010 at 10:44PM Leanne Stamatellos - Hi Audrey, I'm coming from Australia and I'll be listening to your class at wppi. Where I live the sun is strong and harsh for most of the day in summer and I'd love to know if you get to a location that's too open and not sheltered enough what do you do? see you there, Leanne Jan 25, 2010 at 10:16PM Syephanie SeRine - Hey Audrey, Good to know. How do I sign up for one of your workshops? Thanks, Stephanie SeRine www.stephanieserineblog.com Jan 25, 2010 at 3:06PM Renee W. - I'm a huge fan of your work and my questions could go on and on, but I'll try to not bombard you. How often does it happen that you show up to a clients home and it's just to dark to shoot inside their home? Or can you always work around this? What equipment do you use? What's your favorite lens for on-location shots? And, finally, do you bring any props along with you or just use what's available in your clients home? Thank you so much! Also, I'm going to be in Chicago this week (I'm from CA) with my husband for his work. If I happen to see your studio and you happen to be there, may I pop in to say HI? Jan 24, 2010 at 6:04PM Misty - So when are you gonna post those pics from your fabulous Oct. workshop? :) Maybe I'll see you at WPPI. Jan 24, 2010 at 5:46PM Lindsey Turner - and by "completely obvious", you aren't possibly referring to the fact that we all had an "ah-ha" moment at the Oct. workshop when we realized we just need to BACK-UP and not shoot so close??!!!! :) yes, it did seem obvious, huh?! Jan 24, 2010 at 2:51PM julie - Beautiful pictures!!! Love the eyes :) Jan 24, 2010 at 3:10AM |
